For many years Sydney-based big bands have sought out Dan McVey whenever they need a true to life vocal tribute to the swing era. Dan’s warm vocals and relaxed delivery invoke a laid-back style reminiscent of the great Frank Sinatra, while his versatility and flair bring to mind the all-round vocal flexibility of Bobby Darin.

Dan’s own swing show, Still Swingin' has proven to be extremely popular with audiences looking for some swing and sway.

In addition, Dan’s musical passion often sees him performing with small combos, both easy-listening jazz and soft-rock.

A long-time fan of Jimmy Buffett, Dan now offers an exciting new addition to his repertoire with his new show Cheeseburgers & Margaritas, a heart-felt tribute to Jimmy covering the best-loved songs his fans “know by heart”.
